Star Wars fans rejoice because the Earl’s much loved ‘Stars Are Braw’ print collection is growing ever larger with the addition of this print ‘Dinnae Call Me Princess!’. These prints lovingly combine top Star Wars characters with funny Scottish slang – and we can’t get enough! In this print, Princess Leia is showing Darth who’s boss!
These leather bound journals by Ark will certainly bring the laughs – The range includes Mr Moustachio and Bite Me Journals, as well as these adorable Go Fetch designs. It’s Billy Connolly! A very funny chap with the ability to keep his audience in stiches, time and time again. This large screenprint by Barry D Bulsara is ‘The Big Yin’ – The Big Yin is the nick name given to Billy Connolly when he was a youngster to distinguish him from his father, Billy Connolly. The famous Banana Boots were crafted by Glasgow Pop Artist Edmund Smith and were a regular part of his act through the 1970’s!
Claire Barclay is a right jokester – creating witty cards and braw brooches that have our customers ‘slapping their knees’ with delight! She’s all about having fun and enjoying yourself – we reckon there’s never a dull moment hanging out with Claire. This ‘Gaun Yersel!’ Brooch is made from shrink plastic and will bring you a little bit of classic, Claire Barclay comedy.
This little guy is our ‘Scottish Bagpiper Decoration’ by East End Press. Never have you ever seen such an adorable Bagpiper, screenprinted onto ply and created in East End Press’ Glasgow studio. He’s very talented and definitely gives the Royal Mile regulars a run for their money! A great wee memento of a fun trip to Edinburgh!
As we said before – we can’t get enough of The Grey Earl’s new prints! This is ‘Whit A Trooper’ and is also part of the ‘Stars Are Braw’ collection. This Stormtrooper has their hands full at the local shops thanks to a troop of unruly, wee ones. Now that’s what we call super trooper duper!
‘I’ve written a joke about a fat badger, but i couldn’t fit it into my set’ and ‘I’ve given up asking rhetorical questions, what’s the point?’ Thank you for the gags Masai Graham and Alexei Sayle, both of whom featured on this highly amusing screenprint poster ‘Jokes From The Fringe’ by Barry Bulsara! You don’t get much funnier that the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, one of the biggest events in the Scottish calendar! 🙂
