A hip ship-shape collection for your summer holidays with this weeks #SaturdaySuperstars, inspired by Geometry, the sea and the sky! We have lots of new works in to share with you, from ceramics and prints for your staycation, to jewellery and summery accessories for your adventurers!
The “Geo” theme is a nod to the geometric lines explored by Kate Sheridan in her Spring Summer collection of “Geo Palm” bags, wallets and purses, just the perfect accessory for stepping out on the boardwalk!
As this season has already started, we have put some styles on sale, but Kate’s products are such great designs, that they will stand the test of time. A wee hint from this collection would be the “Bucket Bag” as shown above, very versatile with long and short strap options, the bucket bag was the go to bag of the 90’s and has been making a steady comeback for the last few seasons.
The “Harbour” theme is a direct response to our delight at the arrival of Harbour 1, 2 & 3 foiled screen prints from Tom Pigeon. Number 3 is shown above and a wee detail of Number 1 is below, we just can’t stop looking at these perfectly balanced compositions! Have a peep at all 3 here, along with their new Luna & Sol folio.
As if by magic, we have also welcomed in new jewellery from maker Alice Bosc this week, whose pieces titled “Land” (below)
and “Coast” (below again) are featured in the Saturday Superstars collection along with the slightly less thematically titled “Lemon Incest” who made it into the edit on the strength of it’s angular shape.
The whole collection is a geometric delight and is available in Gold, Silver and Bronze so you can award yourself or your pal a wee medal. Alice is based in London where she designs and makes her range with great care and attention to detail. She strives to keep her work clean, sophisticated, affordable and unisex, so we think they’d make a great option for a gift for a style conscious gent.
What walk along the boardwalk or harbour would be complete without a scarf to keep the cill away or protect from the sunshine rays? Kirsteen Stewart’s beautful sunset scarves captures the summer evening feel perfectly!
All of us here at Red Door HQ have been going a little weak at the knees for our new, hand made collection of ceramics. The “Seal Bowl” is a particular charmer, as are his friends “Hedgehog” and “Sloth” bowls. Keep an eye on our “What’s New” section and our “Instagram” pages to meet even more of their palls over the coming weeks.
We hope you have enjoyed our Saturday Superstars Geo Harbour and that your summer travels, wherever they take you, bring you joy!
