This drawing is from Sarah’s time as Artist in Residence for the National Museum of Scotland, where she helped to host their ‘Drawn Together’ event which encouraged everyone to come in and draw objects from the Museum’s collection.
Pairs of seated Spaniels were popular ornaments in the late 19th Century, in Scotland they were commonly known as Wally Dugs.
