Cairngorms National Park was established in 2003, is a national park in the beautiful Highlands of Scotland.

Covering the Cairngorms range of mountains, and surrounding hills, it is the largest National Park in the UK, spanning a range of 4,528 km2 and areas of Aberdeenshire, Moray, Highland, Angus and Perth and Kinross.

The Cairngorm mountains provide a unique habitat and home to many rare plants, birds and animals. Specialty bird species within the park include ptarmigan, dotterel, snow bunting, golden eagle, ring ouzel, and red grouse.

Other beautiful wildlife include the only herd of reindeer in the British Isles, mountain hare and the stunning red deer, which as you can see was our main inspiration for this print.
