Ploterre is an exquisite design studio founded by artist and mathematician Rebecca Kaye whose love for data, design and the outdoors is what drives her to create such wonderful work. For Rebecca it all began in Wales where her fascination for the sea and natural world grew and continued to grow as she made her way up the country to settle up north in Scotland. During this time she studied mathematics, visual communication and gained experience in information and design. All these skills have been brought together with Ploterre design which uses environmental data to create artwork from processes and discoveries within the natural world. The Wordmarks A3 Risograph is a wonderfully bright and intelligent print which is inspired by the book Landmarks by Robert McFarlane, which details the richness of language used across the UK to describe the natural world. We also love the sophisticated Munros A3 Risograph print by Ploterre which is based on data collected from all 282 Scottish Munros! We can’t stress enough how fascinating these data rich prints are, they’re well worth examining!

Or8Design is an artist with a campervan called Owen Findley! His prints are inspired by the great outdoors and each of his designs convey a sense of peace, joy and relaxation, time away from the fast lane, time away from technology and embracing nature without distraction. Whether it’s a roaring fire in a peaceful cottage, ramblings through the open moors or getting lost in woodlands, these prints intend to capture the joy of getting away from it all. His most recent print to arrive at the Gallery is First Coffee Of The Day A4 and we love the way it evokes that excitement to get out and explore the morning landscape, ahead of a whole day outdoors! The hand pulled screenprint Lost In The Landscape is a simple and serene image, inspired by rambles around the mountains and valleys of Wales, in the trusty Or8Design campervan of course! Spencer Wilson is a super successful illustrator and printmaker based in London. He is also the co-founder of design company Peepshow Collective Ltd, and his designs have been around since 1998 with examples of his work lighting up advertising billboards in London and across Europe – very well travelled! He is also a superb illustrator of all things cycling, Spencer’s cycling collection is fantastically encouraging and inspired by the bike enthusiast! Pedal It Out is a grand print which makes us want to feel that wind in our hair as we bike about those back roads, working up a sweat and taking in the views. Ideally with the weather as nice! Another of Spencer Wilson’s cycling prints is Le Domestique and if you’ve ever wanted to, or have completed a cycle tour then this is the print for you. Inspired by those athletes that cycle for miles and miles across open country and scenic roads all over the world!

See Creatures is a design studio with a brilliant band of in-house designers based in the jolly seaside town of Brighton, and their works really do burst with colour and wildness! Our newest prints are designed by See Creatures’ creative director Dan Walters and they’re taking us out into the exotic outdoors. Filled to the brim with pattern, shape, layers and colour, we love how our eyes hungrily explore these artworks, discovering great depths of funky foliage and exciting critters. Let your mind roam about the imaginary jungle in which the Toucan of Toucan Rainforest resides, amongst the corals, teals and pinks. Then prowl along with the captivating Leopard lurking within the fluoro pink foliage of the Leopard Tropical print!
