Assortment of Postit Notes

Stationery, stationery, stationery- It’s been National Stationery Week and what a week it’s been- The Red Door Gallery has enjoyed all things stationery and given those marvellous tools for writing a much deserved high five- Here is a little run down of our 7 day stationery extravaganza!

Monday was ‘Make A Note Day’ and these Fox Boxes are ideal! Make your notes on all sorts with these stationery stuffed packs. Inside is an exciting selection of handmade fox goodies, great for the those fox fanatics among us! Inside you will find a selection mini cards with all important envelopes, postcards, a DIY Fox desk companion and much, much more! All lovingly assembled by super, stationery maestro Kirsty Baynham.

Also from Kirsty Baynham is the Unicorn Stationery Box, filled with an exciting selection of handmade, unicorn-themed goodies. Within this magical stationery assemblage there are postcards, a notebook a poster and a mystical scroll. Plus a lovely Unicorn desk companion for you to create.

Tuesday was ‘Pen And Pencil Day’ so here are a lovely batch of pencils from Gemma Correll at Ohh Deer. Although suitable for outdoor and indoor use, these pencils celebrate the love we have for sitting comfortably on our favourite chairs and looking out the inspiring view through the window… The safest way to draw in Edinburgh without getting a surprise raining on! The Pencils for the Great Indoors are just brilliant.

Wednesday was all about ‘Stationery The World Over’ and so another offering from those funny folk at Ohh Deer. These Post It Notes feature a wee cat plotting it’s global take over… those eyes say it all! More designs of these ultra handy Post It Notes are available too!

Thursday was ‘Work Happy Day’ and so we thought this Sprig Pencil Case was in order. A refreshingly, spring flavoured zip case from designer Mr PS to carry all those working tools! It’s bound to put a spring in your step as you set off on your latest literary or artsy mission. Get your work done this spring with the power of the Sprig!

Friday was all about having ‘A Place For Everything’ and we all know how tricky that can be. Whether it be keeping your work space organised or being envious of someone else’s super slick desk, maintaining a relaxing working area is a daily struggle. To the rescue we have Son of Pear! A fantastic designer who loves ceramics and we love hers… Her various decorated pots come in unique shapes and sizes and are the perfect home for some of those unruly desk items.

Saturday was ‘Get Crafty’ and we have just the guy. Harris the Fox is a Cut Out and Make friend from designer Kate Mclelland of Finch and Robin. Once assembled, Harris can be your work companion. Just pop him on your desk and run your ideas past his cute little ears. He’ll be your work place mascot and bring you good luck with up coming assignments!

And finally Sunday became ‘Signature Sunday’,  so we thought we’d go with signature style in the form of this beautiful brooch by Lucie Ellen. The Pencil Brooch can be worn at any angle to express your personal flair for all things stationery! This eye popping pencil brooch is beautifully handmade from wood.

As the new week begins, lets gather our newfound fondness for stationery with thanks to National Stationery Week 2018 and revamp those key stationary tools. There’s a lot of hot, new and jazzy products out there so why not start here at The Red Door Gallery? We know how great stationery can be! 🙂
