This print was created by Tommy Perman for his solo exhibition with The Red Door Gallery, titled “Leith, in Red and Black”. These elaborate and decorative gates once marked and guarded the perimeter for food production premises. Now converted into residential flats, these buildings highlight the artist’s interest in the re-appropriation of buildings built for purpose. For more information about this exhibition, click here.
