This print depicts the lovely Edinburgh skyline in dark purple with Scottish thistles, highland cows, a stag, salmon and a pheasant – just some of Scotland’s wildlife – it even includes some golf clubs. The delicate design started life as an intricate papercut which was then transferred to a silk screen to create this screenprint! Hand pulled in a limited edition run of 200, each print is signed and numbered by the artist, Emily Hogarth.
Emily is a Scottish designer and illustrator living and working in Edinburgh having graduated from the College of Art in 2008. Through her motto ‘making the everyday magical’ Emily captures the magic of the Scottish landscape and its wildlife combining these with her recognisable floral and faunas.
Paper size approx 34 x 23 cm. Frame for Edinburgh purple is not included.
