A handmade artist book by a top floor flat bird observer and illustrator. This wee ‘guide book’ to bird watching is made with a lot of love and humour.
Entirely researched, illustrated, written, printed and bound by Rachel R Turner in Edinburgh.
The inner pages of the book are printed onto recycled, lightweight sugar paper for that ‘feathery’ feel and also to give each book a more artistic and unique finish due to the unpredictable ink marks and textures during the printing process. The book cover uses tree free, handmade paper with wild flower seeds. Leaving more trees for the birds, and additional bonus feauture – the potential for creating wildlife habitat should the book meet a muddy end!
Each book has been finished by hand.
The book contains: 35 pages of novice bird spotting joy!
