Village Politics – screenprint

This hand-printed piece, displays a verity of print-makerly techniques and styles.  The gold and/or silver leaf is applied to certain printed areas when the ink is wet. This has to be done very carefully as the ink dries incredibly quickly and the leaf is so delicate.  This is a piece to treasure and let your mind wonder.  The impressive artist, Freya Cummings, prints solely using water-based inks so it is eco friendly too.

Printed on Somerset satin 100% cotton paper. Due to the hand-printed nature of these works, please note that there may be slight variations between each piece.  Limited edition silkscreen print with gold leaf.
