Retired Wrestlers – The Harvester

This print ‘The Harvester’ is from the latest series of Seymour prints titled ‘Retired Wrestlers’.

The prints are created using a mix of traditional ink illustration and digital colouring and printed offset onto 300gsm 100% recycled archival paper. The recycled paper absorbs a higher quantity of ink than synthetic mixed papers resulting in incredibly rich detailed prints, with a natural smooth matt surface

Seymour in the creative name Peter Kelk chooses to work under.  Peter was born in New Zealand in 1981, he graduated in 2002 having studied illustration at Wanganui School of Design.  He has spent time living in Vienna, Edinburgh and currently works from his studio in Berlin.  He has exhibited with The Red Door Gallery since graduating, his last solo exhibition was The Adventures of The Antiqutarian.  Inspired by curios, junk and lost & found objects, he is truly intrigued by the often overlooked. Each work created is intended to visually record the amalgamation of Renaissance styles, Victoriana and present day techniques.

This print is 14.5 x 19.5 cm including a 5mm white boarder. Each print also has a motif printed on the reverse side and is signed on both back and front.  It will trim to fit perfectly into a standard frame.

This Print can also be purchased as part of the full set of 5 ‘Retired Wrestlers’. Note that it is slightly cheaper to buy the set rather than the prints individually. Plus you get the great packaging!!
