Edinburgh based vocal artist and singer, Wounded Knee aka Drew Wright, has been doing his thing for a wee while now, releasing music on independent record labels such as Benbecula and Twos and Fews (Drag City) and performing regularly across Britain. His work orientates around traditional folk songs particularly Scottish tales and is usually and impressively performed capella although sometimes accompanied by loop pedals or unusual instruments. He is always part of interesting events and projects and its definitely worth checking his website out for any up and coming shows – if you head along you are almost guaranteed to experience something special!!!
