With all the rain & warm(ish) weather we’ve been having the plants are blooming & I’m sure you’ll agree, everywhere is looking pretty lush!
We’ve also had a bumper month of beautiful ceramics & leafy inspired prints arriving. It’s getting us all a little bit green fingered & has inspired this weeks #fridayfavourites.
Everyone’s favourite spikey friend, The Cacti. This prickly little guy seems to be booming in the fashion stakes at the moment & is adorned across clothing, homewares & prints.
Hello Marines new collection is inspired by this little guy & we’re all a little bit in love with her new venture into home furnishings with the introduction of her hand screen printed monochrome Cacti Cushions.
If you’re a plant lover but not very green fingered then this is the perfect way to bring plants into your life, as is her gorgeous new print Leafy Goodness. A beautiful print in lush greens & black. We love the grid pattern on the vase too.
This also ties in perfectly with the arrival of new ceramic vases from Jeff Josephine. A lovely collection featuring hand painted grid & leaf patterns. They come in 3 different sizes, Large navy/red, Small – navy/mustard & my absolute favorite Medium – grey/mustard. It’s a beaut! ?
They would look amazing with a collection of Craspedia. A care free way to fill your vase as they’re dried flowers and fun little spherical buds.
We’ve come to the end of Susie Wrights exhibition this week. Susie’s collection featured beautiful Flora & Fauna from her Australian Trip.
One of my personal favourites from her collection was ‘Surveying The Daintree’. Susie’s full collection of limited edition screen prints & hand made ceramics will continue to be available through the gallery & online shop.
Last but most certainly not least is Essi Kimpimaki. Her Coyote print fits perfectly with this weeks collection, lots of spikey Cacti in this one.
We’re also super excited to share with you that we’ve just taken delivery of her new collection. Essi’s new Bergen print is stunning. Featuring the coloured buildings synonymous with Bergen.
We hope you’ve enjoyed this weeks #fridayfavourites & it’s inspired you to get a little bit green fingered. Failing that a wee trip to The Botanics is sure to satisfy your flora and fauna needs! ?
Happy Weekend!
