This font was compiled by Moritz Resl, who is on a mission to find the Average Font. The film depicts his process of layering every font he could find ontop of each other and combining the images to produce the hazily defined mean of all fonts. The ghostly letters are quite charming, traditional and have a ghostly quailty which make them feel rather fittingly steeped in history.
Today is our Kerstin’s last official day at The Red Door Gallery, but we hope she’ll be back in the coming months to cover a few winter shifts. Kerstin loves a good font, so make way for some more odes to text!
