The Red Door Gallery team were out in Victorian Splendor at NMSLates, colouring in, cutting stripey string and hosting a workshop of Victorian things.
The Lindstrom Effect provided us with some art works and 6 beautifuly designed Thaumatrpes for our workshop audience to colour in and take home. Here are some of our favourite photos from the evening, including the man-on-a-bike altered to a farting-man-on-a-bike. Naughty, but not the naughtiest of our innocent looking workshoppers, oh the Victorian’s would have blushed :] A huge thankyou to everyone who got involved, to The Lindstrom Effect for their excellent work and of course to the Museum for having us.If any of the artworks on show caught your eye, The Lindstrom Effect’s prints are availble to buy in our online shop, just drop me an email if you can’t find what you are looking for. nicky@edinburghart.com
We also put out a couple of prints by Peter Carrington as we are having our own Victorian Christmas windows, due to go up in the gallery over the next 2 weeks. Stay tuned to this blog to see more photos and new works from Ben Rotheray.
